Wheels Up!

We are on our way! With students traveling in 4 groups from 3 airports, today is the official kickoff of our adventure. As of 6:00 pm, all flights have either landed in San Jose or are on their final leg of the journey. Thank you to our amazing students, families, and chaperones for arriving on time and making this travel day as smooth as possible.

Tonight’s activities will include a quick dinner, some pool time for the earlier flights, and a nice early bedtime. Tomorrow morning our 147 students and 24 chaperones will have a big shared breakfast. This is one of the few moments our group will fit in the same room and we will take the opportunity to meet our guides and review a few expectations before we hit the buses to La Fortuna, a small, ecotourism-heavy town at the base of Volcan Arenal.
